Come photograph birds in Syöte! From our photo hide, you can easily capture the birds of Finland’s southernmost fell region and other forest wildlife all year round!
Our target species vary by season and include species such as willow tits, great tits, crested tits, crossbills, great spotted woodpeckers, Siberian jays, Eurasian jays, and various waterfowl. During the photo walk, if we're lucky, we might even capture a red-flanked bluetail, three-toed woodpecker, or a great grey owl! Squirrels are frequent visitors to our hide, too.
During the bird photography excursion, a professional photographer and local guide with years of nature photography experience introduces the basics of bird photography, hide photography, and shooting techniques to you— all while respecting the ethical guidelines of nature photography.
